Over third of Dutch use cloud storage services

Over a third of the Dutch (36%) used a cloud-based service in 2015, putting the country fourth in the EU, according to research by the state statistics agency CBS. Cloud services are used especially to save documents, music and video content online; photos are the most common thing saved in the cloud, at 87 percent of users. The CBS survey focused on 'cloud computing' services, for saving and sharing digital content, and not online services such as email, messaging or streaming.
