Padtec brings optical network to connect Para energy plant

Padtec has provided fibre-optic equipment for the transmission line taking energy produced by the Belo Monte hydroelectric power plant in Para to the southeastern and central-western regions of Brazil. To light the route, Padtec provided its LightPad Platform products, including transponders, optical amplifiers and redundant systems, to provide connectivity and remote monitoring of substations in real time.
