
Pakistan to establish single international calls gateway

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and local communications firms have agreed to establish a unified gateway for incoming international calls, The Express Tribune writes citing a BMA Capital research note. The 'International Clearing House (ICH)' will converge all international calls to a single technical gateway, compared with the current practice of calls being handled by fourteen Long Distance International (LDI) operators at different rates.
