Panasonic to offer Pathe Thuis on TV home screen

The VoD service Pathe Thuis will be among the first Dutch apps available on the new generation of Panasonic TVs. Panasonic wants to see more Dutch apps added to the home screen, according to a report from Emerce. Now that the company has joined the Smart TV Alliance, it plans to focus more on local apps. The industry alliance means developers no longer have to develop different apps for each brand of devices.
