Pandora to push 'aggressive' transformation plan, starting with job cuts

Digital music service Pandora has unveiled a major restructuration plan that would see the company save about USD 45 million per year through job cuts and other cost saving measures. The company said it has an "aggressive plan" to reinvest the savings into growth initiatives such as ad-tech, non-music content, device integration and marketing technology. It also plans to re-hire in these areas. Reports say Pandora will first eliminate 5 percent of its workforce.
