Papua New Guinea mobile subscriber base expands after cut in internet prices

Papua New Guinea operators Telikom and Bmobile have seen an increase of about 60,000 subscribers after they announced in July that they would reduce internet prices, The National reported. Interim MD for Kumul Telikom Holdings (KTH) group Mosey Sau told The National that the response to the announcement had been "very positive", with the group hoping to make a 10 to 20 percent profit at the end of this month.
