Paratus Zambia deploys 100 Gbps metro fibre ring in Lusaka for better enterprise service

Friday 18 September 2020 | 09:56 CET | News
Paratus Zambia said it has deployed a 100 Gbps metro fibre ring in Lusaka. The enterprise network will now provide business fibre services that guarantee uptime and quality connectivity, as well as data centre services, it said. As part of Paratus' strategy to extend its footprint throughout Africa, the group activated more capacity on the WACS submarine cable and its own Trans Kalahari Fibre via Namibia and Botswana to Sesheke in Zambia in 2019, improving regional connectivity for businesses.
