Parents concerned about child's mobile use

Some 32 percent Australian parents have been hit by a high mobile bill from their children and 33 percent of these had received a bill of AUD 300 or more. The research, by mobile operator Optus, also found that 57 percent of parents would not be financially able to pay a high bill received due to their child's overuse and one in three parents would need to make a sacrifice to cover the cost. About 75 percent of parents admit to being concerned about their child's mobile use and 65 percent do not trust them to stay within their data limits.
