Pathe Thuis introduces iPhone app

Dutch VoD provider Pathe Thuis has launched a mobile app for iPhone users. The company said this is part of plans to make its service available on any type of screen. It said the first days of the app show customers use it often to watch trailers, so the app works as way of orientating them about the offer. The company also sees more customers turning to online viewing. With its recent promotion on the last James Bond film, 60 percent of the traffic came from mobile devices. In the coming months, Pathe Thuis also plans apps for Android smartphones (a tablet version exists already), the iPad
