Pecik has no immediate plans to sell Telekom Austria stake

Telekom Austria shareholder Ronny Pecik is happy to hold onto his stake in the company. In an interview with Austrian magazine 'Format', Pecik said that he had nothing against an offer from Norwegian operator Telenor, but added that he did not want to sell his shares too quickly after fighting hard to buy them. This follows reports that Telenor was interested in his Telekom Austria stake. In the interview, Pecik also said that he had recently met with China Mobile executives. However, he declined to comment on whether he offered to sell his stake in the company to them, saying only that he went there for business advice.
