Pepephone CEO Serrahima to leave company - report

Wednesday 28 September 2016 | 10:21 CET | News
The CEO of Spanish MVNO Pepephone, Pedro Serrahima, is set to leave the operator to join Spanish tourist group Globalia at the end of October, reports website El Confidencial. Serrahima set up Pepephone back in 2012, growing its customer base to around half a million before selling it to MasMovil for EUR 158 million. The transaction was approved by communications and competition regulator CNMC earlier this month, with MasMovil committing to preserving the Pepephone brand and launching convergent offers with Yoigo – another recent acquisition – before the end of the year.
