Peru mobile data speeds up 13% to nearly 25 Mbps

Peru's mobile internet speeds have continued improving over the past 12 months, reaching an average of 24.8 Mbps in September, up around 13 percent compared to the year-earlier speed of 22.0 Mbps, according to Ookla figures published by the country's telecommunications regulator Osiptel. The speed means Peru has risen to fourth in the ranking of neighbouring South American countries, behind Uruguay (38.1 Mbps), Brazil (33.9 Mbps) and Argentina (29.8 Mbps).
