Peruvian fibre operator Win launches operations

A new Peruvian operator called Win, backed by local company Optical Networks, has officially launched a fibre-optic based broadband and fixed telephony service in the Lima and Callao districts, reports El Comercio. The operator is planning to invest some USD 3 million and reach 50,000 customers in its first of operations and is offering services ranging from 30Mbps broadband for PEN 79 a month to 100Mbps for PEN 99.
