Pharol seeks EUR 2 billion in compensation from Oi

Portuguese holding Pharol said it filed a lawsuit against Brazilian operator Oi at the Lisbon District Court seeking cash compensation of EUR 2 billion, reports Reuters. Pharol explained that Oi's behavior at the General Shareholders Meetings in September 2014 and January 2015, where the sale of PT Portugal to Altice was decided, "seriously damaged the rights and interests of Pharol and its thousands of shareholders".
