Philips loses ITC patent case against Garmin, Fitbit

Philips has lost a patent infringement case brought against Fitbit and Garmin. The US International Trade Commission (ITC) ruled against the Dutch company and refused its request for an import ban on certain Garmin and Fitbit devices.
