PlayStation Vue adds new channels, drops Viacom networks

Sony has announced that it's adding new channels to its PlayStation Vue OTT TV service to replace the Viacom-owned networks it will be dropping from 11 November. Channels including Comedy Central, Spike and MTV will no longer be available to Vue consumers after the company said in a blog post that it had decided that "removing the bundle of channels from Viacom is the best way for us to continue to offer the most compelling value to our fans." However, Sony also announced the addition of BBC America and NBA TV today starting 11 November, with Vice and more local broadcast stations from CBS
