Pokemon players walk 25% more than previously

The most engaged fans of the Pokemon game walked 25 percent more than they did before Pokemon Go's release, writes Recode.net citing a study conducted by researchers from Microsoft Research and Stanford University over the course of a month. Researchers reached their conclusion by counting the number of steps recorded by Pokemon Go fans' Microsoft Bands wearable activity trackers. Researchers separated fans from non-players by studying their Bing search queries.
