Polish districts cut fees to attract infrastructure spending

In association with the ongoing tender for co-financing of broadband infrastructure projects under the Operational Programme Digital Poland (POPC), some municipalities in the Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship have decided to lower the annual fees for laying internet infrastructure in road lanes, reports Gazeta Wyborcza in Kielce. Others do not see any reason for a reduction, as they want to provide the same conditions to new investors that investors in the past had. Annual fees range from PLN 2 to PLN 100 per square metre.
