Polish Institute of Communications calls for radiation limits adjustment

In 2018, Polish users transferred over 3 billion GB of data in total, which is more than twice as much as in 2016, says a report by the Institute of Communications conducted for the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications (PIIT). By 2025, the average monthly use of mobile data in Poland will increase almost 25 times. To meet the growing demand, operators have to increase network capacity, which according to experts is not possible under current standards for electromagnetic field emissions.
