Polish m-payments system IKO targets 1 million users by 2015

Polish bank PKO BP is continuing the development of the mobile payments system IKO, with five banks (BZ WBK, Alior Bank, ING Bank Slaski, mBank and Bank Millennium) to join the system at the turn of the first and second quarters of 2014. IKO aims for at least one million clients by 2015, reports Media2.pl. However, adding more banks could prove difficult due to differing strategies, Zbigniew Jagiello, CEO at PKO BP told news agency Newseria Biznes.
