Poly reports better-than-expected Q4, boosted by demand for enterprise headsets

Poly reported lower results for its fiscal fourth quarter to 04 March, but topped its expectations for the period given mid-April, boosted by increased demand for enterprise headsets amid the coronavirus pandemic. Looking ahead, the company is guiding for a sequentially lower first quarter and will be suspending its dividend, deferring a voluntary debt prepayment, and "aggressively" managing costs in order to keep its financial flexibility and liquidity, CFO Charles Boynton said.
