Portuguese operators given 50 days to change zero-rating offers

Portugal's National Communications Authority (Anacom) has given a deadline for 50 working days for operators to change zero-rating and similar offers for mobile internet services that violate regulations on network neutrality and roaming. This decision, preceded by a public consultation, was based on the monitoring of existing offers, which detected situations in which providers have differentiated traffic management practices for general traffic ceilings and specific ceilings or unlimited offers for certain applications in violation of the rules of net neutrality.
