Portuguese operators to suffer from roaming end - Apritel

Portugal's Association of Telecommunications Operators (Apritel) has warned that the country's mobile operators will be hurt by the end of roaming charges, reports TeK. According to the general secretary of the association, Daniela Antao, the announced measures will hurt countries with net incoming roaming, where tourism is relatively more important, such as Portugal and other countries of southern Europe. Apritel also believes that the entry into force of the measure will have a negative impact on domestic tariffs. According to the compromise agreement among EU institutions, roaming
