Portuguese regulator finds telecom prices rising faster than rest of EU

Telecommunication prices in Portugal increased by 6.5 percent from the end of 2009 to October 2020 while in the EU they fell by 11 percent, according to the National Communications Authority (Anacom), citing Eurostat data. Data collected by Anacom show that only two countries recorded higher price increases than Portugal in the period under review: Slovenia and Romania.
