Portuguese spend 91 minutes on social networks daily

Users of social networks in Portugal spend an average of 91 minutes of their time daily on these sites, according to a Marktest study to which Lusa had access. Facebook has the highest penetration rate, with 94 percent of users, followed by Youtube, Google+, WhatsApp and Instagram, which grew the most compared with 2015. Since 2011, the number of social network users in Portugal has grown by 53 percent and reached 4.6 million (54% of residents in Continental Portugal aged 15 and over).
