PPF gets EU greenlight for acquisition of broadcaster CME

The European Commission has approved unconditionally the proposed acquisition of broadcaster Central European Media Enterprises (CME) by PPF Group. The commission came to the conclusion that the transaction will raise no competition concerns in the European Economic Area, despite some overlap in the businesses in Czechia and Slovak Republic.
