Prisa reduces debt by EUR 705 mln, to delist from NYSE

Spanish media group Prisa announced in a statement to Spain's market regulator CNMV that it has reduced its debt by EUR 704.7 million over the past four months and has bought back EUR 133.1 million in debt at a discount of EUR 0.25 per euro from certain financing entities. The company has also begun proceedings to deregister its ADS (American Depositary Shares) from the New York stock exchange (NYSE) with a view to saving costs.
