Prison sentence for theft of 773 Vodafone phones

A court in Arnhem has sentenced a resident of Nijmegen for the theft of 773 mobile phones, reports De Telegraaf. The court ordered eight months of detention, of which four conditional. The subscriptions with free phones were all ordered in a year from Vodafone, each with different names, addresses and forms of ID. Another suspect received a prison sentence for fencing the phones. Authorities seized EUR 60,000 from the Nijmegen resident.
