Privacy Cafe starts petition against data retention law

The civil rights group Privacy Cafe have set up a website to raise opposition to the proposed data retention legislation in the Netherlands. On the site stopdebewaarplicht.nu, they lay out their arguments for opposing the law and why it violates the constitution. Visitors to the site can access form letters, tweets and Facebook posts to send to their communications providers in order to express their opposition to the legislation. The site also includes a count of the number of people registering their opposition. While many providers have already come out against the law, they are obliged by
