Proparco grants EUR 16 mln loan to AktivCo to improve energy efficiency of telecom towers in Africa

Proparco has granted a loan of EUR 16 million to support AktivCo, a subsidiary of the Camusat group, in four projects aimed at the hybridisation of telecommunications towers in Burkina Faso, Niger, Cote d'Ivoire and Cameroon. A large number of towers are not connected to national electricity grids and generally run on fuel generators.
