Proximus approves new term for CEO Leroy

The term of Proximus CEO Dominique Leroy has been extended by four years. The decision was approved during the company's AGM, L'Echo reported. During the meeting of shareholders, Leroy defended the new Proximus strategy shift to digital, over the coming three years, even though it will mean letting go of 1,900 employees. The trade unions involved are strongly opposed to the redundancies.
