Proximus, BNP start digital inclusion alliance in Belgium

Belgian bank BNP Paribas Fortis and telecom operator Proximus have kicked off the DigitAll initiative, aimed at reducing the digital divide in Belgium. First launched by the bank last year as the Digital Inclusion Ecosystem, the rebranded project has attracted nineteen companies, eight social organizations and seven public bodies to support the plans. The effort starts with a national awareness campaign to highlight the importance of digital inclusion, a digital inclusion index to assess the accessibility of digital tools, and a mobile solution to teach digital skills to hard-to-reach target
