Proximus boosts 4G speeds, introduces femtocells

Belgian operator Proximus announced a range of measures to improve its mobile customer experience. The operator said it will start offering customers 4G+ speeds of up to 225 Mbps at the end of this month. Around 20 cities will be covered by the faster service, including the greater Brussels area, Ghent, Antwerp, Liege, Charleroi, Leuven, Hasselt, Aalst, Mechelen, Louvain-la-Neueve and others. The operator is also introducing femtocells for customers to extend mobile coverage in their home or office.
