Proximus fined for violation of GDPR

Proximus has received a fine of EUR 50,000 from the Belgian Data Protection Authority for violating the EU's General Data Protection Regulation, L'Echo reports. The regulator found a conflict of interest at Proximus's data protection officer, who had both advisory and executive roles.
