Proximus reaches deal with trade unions on restructuring plans

Belgian operator Proximus has reached an agreement with employee trade unions regarding the reorganisation plans it announced in January. At the time the company said 1,900 jobs would disappear. With the new plan, Proximus expects to limit the number of forced redundancies to 250-500. The company also announced that half of its total 225 partner points of sale will close.
