Proximus unions pessimistic over restructuring talks

Monday 11 February 2019 | 13:32 CET | News
Unions at Belgian operator Proximus are resisting the company's proposed restructuring, De Tijd reports. The operator has not taken the possibility of forced redundancies off the table in talks on the plans and is also pushing for changes in the employment law covering workers at the former state monopoly. Further industrial action, including participation in the general strike in Belgium on 13 February, can't be ruled out, the unions said.
