Proximus unions propose lower dividend to avoid redundancies

Unions at Belgian operator Proximus have proposed alternatives to the company's planned restructuring, including organisational changes and a reduced dividend, news agency Belga reports. The proposals could help the operator avoid forced redundancies in its plan to let 1,900 jobs go, while hiring 1,250 new employees.
