Prysmian adopts IBM Cloud for digital transformation

Milan-listed cable maker Prysmian has contracted IBM Services to help it expand and manage its global technological infrastructure. The 3-year agreement is designed to address Prysmian's need to better integrate its presence in 50 countries around the world by adopting a hybrid cloud strategy, above all in the wake of its USD 3 billion acquisition of US cable giant General Cable in 2018.
