PSN, Indosat, PNS to launch Nusantara Dua telecom satellite in April

Indonesian satellite communication provider Pasifik Satelit Nusantara (PSN), in partnership with Indosat Ooredoo and telecom operator Pintar Nusantara Sejahtera (PNS), plans to launch a newly built satellite from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in China later this month. The Nusantara Dua satellite is built by China Great Wall Industry, The Jakarta Post reports. The new satellite would replace the Palapa-D satellite to provide broadband internet access and broadcasting services, PSN said.
