PTA fines Siminn ISK 9 mln over video streaming service distribution breach

Icelandic communications regulator PTA said is imposing a fine of ISK 9.0 million on Siminn for breach of paragraph 5 of article 45 of the media law. The watchdog received complaints from Syn (Vodafone Iceland), Gagnaveita Reykjavíkur (GR) and Nova, alleging repeated infringement by Siminn and its subsidiary Mila.
