Qualcomm adds Leap Motion hand tracking to VR experience

Qualcomm Technologies announced that its Snapdragon 835 processor for VR headsets now features Leap Motion's embedded 'Hand Tracking' technology, to enable consumers to interact with VR content directly with their bare hands, rather than being required to hold controllers or wear special gloves. The new capabilities enhance Qualcomm's positional tracking by creating a more intuitive interaction with virtual objects, aiming to render the precise movement of hands and fingers with very low latency.
