Qualcomm and Lenovo to skip in-person MWC Barcelona

Friday 14 May 2021 | 09:38 CET | News
Qualcomm and Lenovo are the latest companies to withdraw as in-person exhibitors at this year's Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, reports Efe. After Samsung pulled out earlier this week, Qualcomm said it appreciated the health and safety measures being put into place by the GSMA but had decided to miss the physical event and attend virtually "in the best interests of our employees and customers". Lenovo has likewise cancelled its physical presence but confirmed its intention to participate in the online MWC 2021.
