Qualcomm presents 7 nanometer Snapdragon 8cx chip for PCs, expects commercial launch in Q3

Qualcomm Technologies unveiled the world's first 7 nanometer PC platform at the third day of the annual Snapdragon Technology Summit. It said the Snapdragon 8cx chip uses the new Qualcomm Adreno 680 GPU and doubles the memory interface from 64 bits to 128. The chip is currently sampling to customers and is expected to begin shipping in commercial devices in Q3 of 2019.
