Qualcomm signs licensing deal with Vivo

Qualcomm announced another licensing agreement in China, with Vivo Communication Technology. Under the terms of the agreement, Qualcomm has granted Vivo a royalty-bearing patent license to develop, manufacture and sell 3G WCDMA, CDMA2000 and LTE devices for use in China, including tri-mode GSM, TD-SCDMA and LTE-TDD devices. The royalties payable are consistent with the terms of Qualcomm's agreement with China's National Development and Reform Commission. Further details of the licensing deal were not disclosed.
