Qualcomm to sample Wi-Fi Display products in H1

Qualcomm Atheros announced the availability of its first generation of Wi-Fi Display-enabled peer-to-peer connectivity products for the consumer electronics market. Wi-Fi Display allows sharing of the screen image or audio content of one device simultaneously on another nearby device, such as from a smartphone to a tablet. The company's initial products will support Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), as well as Windows 7 and 8 operating systems. Products will be available to sample in the first half of 2012, to support end products that can be certified for Wi-Fi Display when the industry
