Qualcomm unveils new mesh devices for home Wi-Fi market

Qualcomm has unveiled its latest mesh networking platform, the new Qualcomm Immersive Home Platforms. The dual and tri-band devices, as small as the palm of the hand, are designed to bring gigabit speeds to every room in the home but still at low consumer price points. Qualcomm said the devices can achieve this thanks to a new modular architecture approach, significant advancements in network packet processing technology and an integration of next-generation Wi-Fi 6 and 6E.
