Qualcomm unveils new Snapdragon 632, 439 and 429 chips

Qualcomm has announced the launch of three new SOCs (system-on-chips), one in its mid-tier Snapdragon 600 range, whose chips have been used in over 1,350 designs, and two in its lower-end Snapdragon 400 line, already used in over 2,300 devices. The new Snapdragon 632 chip builds upon previous releases by introducing the Kryo 250 CPU with up to 40 percent higher performance compared to the Snapdragon 626, according to Qualcomm. Like the 630, the new chips are built using the FinFET 14nm process for gains in performance, and also offer either a single 24MP single-camera or dual cameras at 13MP
