Quarter of Dutch would pay to watch cinema film at home

A quarter of the Dutch are willing to pay to see a film still showing in cinemas at home on their TVs. They would pay on average EUR 8, according to figures from the Telecompaper Consumer Panel. Among those willing to pay, around half would pay up to EUR 5. Three-quarters of respondent said they would not be willing to pay for the service and would prefer to wait until the film is available on TV or VoD services such as Netflix, Videoland or NLZiet (22%), to download the film (11%) or to watch it on DVD (8%). Sixteen percent prefer to go to the cinema, and 17 percent said they don't watch
