Quarter of Mexican millennials subscribe to OTT platform - IFT

Around a quarter (24.6%) of Mexicans aged 18-34 subscribe to at least one OTT platform, according to a report from telecom regulator IFT. The watchdog found that the figure dropped to 17.5 percent of Mexicans aged 35-55 and to 8.8 percent of those over the age of 55. Netflix remains far and away the most popular subscription video on demand (SVoD) platform across all age ranges, and for some seven in ten of those aged 18-34, followed by Claro Video (America Movil) with 25 percent of milliennial subscribers and a third of OTT users aged 35-plus, and Televisa's Blim service with nearly 10
