Quibi short-form streaming platform inks distribution deal with T-Mobile US

Short-form streaming service Quibi, set to launch in April, has inked a new distribution deal with T-Mobile US, The Los Angeles Times reported. Quibi chief executive Meg Whitman noted the company's plans to provide premium video content for millennials exclusively on their mobiles, and that the new partnership with T-Mobile US was therefore a "perfect fit." Details about the partnership, such as whether T-Mobile customers will receive discounts or whether the Quibi app will be pre-installed on their phones, have not yet been determined.
